| Obituary article states as follows: James B Forrest South Haven---- James B. Forrest, 82 long time South Haven area resident, passed away Friday evening, May 10, 2002 at South Haven Community Hospital. Jim was born October 27, 1919 in Nashville Tennessee, to Jehu C. Forrest and Nina O Lancaster. He had worked over 40 years at S.E. Overton Co. in South Haven. Jim was married to Effie Raynerin Ganges Michigan in 1947 and she survives.In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons----Patrick Pierson (Forrest) of Spring Lake Michigan, John Forrest of Kalamazoo Michigan, and Ken Forrest and Dennis Forrest both of South Haven Michigan. Two daughters---Sharon Worel of Athens,Alabama and Cathy Wilson of South Haven Michigan, 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. A half brother George William Forrest of Chicago Illinois, and A sister, Annie Virginia Holthouser of Ridgley Tennessee, and half sisters Margaret Schank of Elgin Illinois, and Fay Etta Roddey of Elgin Illinois. He was preceded in death by both parents, A brother William Buford Forrest of Tennessee, Half brothers, Shermon Earl forrest of Chicago Illinois, Norvel L.V. Forrest of Michigan,Quinnan Harold Forrest of Lake City Tennessee. J.P. Forrest of Huntingdon Tennessee.Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11 A.M. at Calvin Starks and Frost Funeral Home, burial in McDowell Cemetery, Casco, Vanburen County Michigan. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday evening from 7 to 9 P.M.The family is being served by Calvin Starks and Frost Funeral Home. |
