El Viaje - Segovia - 19 September |

This is what we saw as we drove into Segovia in the late afternoon. The
Aqueduct
is the central attraction for tourists here. It's an incredible example of Roman engineering,
completed in the 2nd century AD. Apparently it was still in use until the 1990's. There's no mortar
or anything holding the stones together - they're just piled up. Made us wonder just how they built
such a structure without modern tools. After a nice stroll around the new town, we rested at our
hostal before checking out the aqueduct at nighttime.
