This is the main entrance to the Museo del Prado. It is considered to be one of the premier art museums in the world. Inside are examples of Spain's finest visual artists such as Velasquez and Goya. Taking a hint from our guidebook, we walked around to the side entrance, where the lines are usually shorter but it was a Tuesday, and there was no crowd to contend with.
