Welcome to the home page of one of the THE BIG BAND EXPRESS has enjoyed a long and rich history in performing big band music. We are a 17 piece band of professional musicians dedicated to the faithful performance of music in the tradition of the likes of Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Woody Herman, Harry James, Count Basie, Billy May, Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey, Henry Mancini, Les Brown, Les & Larry Elgart and other big band greats. Many arrangements are enhanced by our vocal stylist, Denise Stevens.

Wednesday, August 5th Join the Big Band Express for their Annual Park Concert/Ice Cream Social from 7 to 10pm at the GARDEN CITY PARK at the corner of Merriman and Cherry Hill Rd. We will play Rain or Shine. Dance or listen as the band will perform in a park setting under a Outdoor Pavilion with a picnic table seating area. With guest male vocalist Mario Messina. 7 to 10pm. We will also play in November 2009 at the Garden City Maplewood Center. More details to come. |
