This course is built on the grounds of an old rice and indigo plantation. It features high elevations, marshes, lakes, waste bunkers and undulating greens. The back nine is set among giant oaks and flowing creeks. Golf Digest's 1998 “Places to Play” gave it 3-Stars. The new management is first-class and is working hard to bring it back.
